Learn about the environment in our area by joining one of our coastal conservation field trips, various subjects are covered such as the effects of rising sea levels and marine debris.

Join us on a sunset boat trip along the Msangasi River where you can admire local birdlife and discover the mangrove forests along the way.

Go on safari to our local Saadani National Park which includes a boat trip along the Wami River to see hippos and crocodiles.


Take part in the various cultural workshops we offer such as Swahili, palm weaving, cookery and art.


Explore the Indian Ocean though diving or snorkeling.

Practice yoga and meditation every morning at sunrise.


The tidal variances make our shores perfect for kite surfing.

Food & Drink





Wild Shores appreciates a communal aspect to eating and drinking which you can see not only from the design of our bar and restaurant but also from the food we serve.

Immerse yourself in our eclectic Swahili fusion tapas, share our veg and seafood delights with old friends and new whilst you're sat overlooking the lapping waves of the Indian Ocean. Our produce comes fresh from our local market and where possible is organic. Fishermen come to us straight from the ocean with their catch of the day and there is a thought to sustainability with every choice we make. A variety of dietry requirements can also be catered for - whether you're vegan, gluten or lactose free!

Our well stocked solar powerered bar will serve ice cold Tanzanian beers and sodas! These glass bottles are returnable. There will also be regional wine available as well as Fairtrade wine from the continent. With an abundance of fresh fruit, there will always be tropical summer cocktails, juices and smoothies for you to devour. To avoid plastic waste there will be free filtered water available at all times for guests.



Art Workshop & Gallery





Wild Shores will have its very own art workshop where we openly invite you to get in touch with your creative side.


Do you play a musical instrument and love to jam? How about expressing yourself through theatre? Are you passionate about art and love to paint and create?

We are using all forms of art to help bring awareness to the environmental issues we face in our area and on this planet today.

This creative space will also be used to hold workshops and educational presentations for community members, visitors and guests.



Sleep Sweet





We'll offer a range of earth conscious lodgings for those who wish to stay with us in our wondrous palms paradise. Your stay with us will help fund the conservation projects we are involved with in our local community.

Each wooden banda will be made using natural building methods with materials which are sourced as locally to the site as possible. They will also come equipped with their very own solar system, ensuite with composting toilets, outdoor showers and some will even be beach front with ocean views. There will be no air conditioning as each banda will be designed to naturally capture the ocean breeze to keep you cool.​
